Lightspeed Champion’s regular blog postings have taken a turn for the saucy recently with Dev Hynes being romantically linked to a member of the Pussycat Dolls.
Dev Hynes explains that Nicole Scherzinger from pop group Pussycat Dolls saw a video of him asking the band a question and apparently said he was “real hot”. Hynes said “a week or so ago I had to give a question for them to answer on the UK music show ‘Sounds’ presented by Grimshaw and Annie Mac.”
However he could be about to talk himself into trouble – Scherzinger is currently dating British Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton.
The new romance hasn’t gone to his head though, with Lightspeed Champion set to preview new material shortly. Of the new songs, Hynes said “it’s all sounding quite emotional in a melodramatic way, and actually quite British too.”
