Liam Gallagher will vote for the Green Party in next month's general election, he says.
Oasis famously backed Labour in 1997, with Noel Gallagher – alongside Creation boss Alan McGee – visiting No. 10 as guests of Tony Blair.
Liam, though, has been rather more apolitical, but has decided to come off the fence with a General Election looming.
Speaking to the Mirror, he revealed that catching sight of the California wild fires triggered an awareness of the impact climate change is causing.
As such, he'll be voting Green: “It’s the only party that makes sense”.
“I’m voting for the Green Party: the rest of them are all selfish and clueless. I’m a big fan of David Attenborough and watching his show on the Antarctic recently was really sad.”
“It’s worrying. We need to do more to make this world a more healthy environment to live in.”
The general election takes place on December 12th – get out and vote.
