Liam Gallagher turns music critic in a new video interview.
The interview was filmed for VICE News, and involved the former Oasis frontman and all-round opinion-generator taking a look at the latest releases.
Amongst the tracks Liam Gallagher was a fan of was 'Cellophane' by Canadian noise rock outfit METZ.
“I’m having it. I like the bass and the drums, and the distorted guitars. And the vocals were alright as well… They sound pissed off, which I fucking like”.
He noted: “They sound good them, but look like nerds or something.”
Responding to 'Fuck Ugly God' by Houston rapper Ugly God, the singer appeared to wrinkle his nose: “He’s talking about hoes and bitches and shit, right? And all that stuff. Yeah, I’m not keen on all that but it’s a good tune though man.”
Liam Gallagher was then played Vera Blue's 'Lady Powers' to which he responded: “She’s asking for flowers, man. You can’t ask for flowers… You either get them or you don’t”.
The singer then revealed that he’s been “carrying (Damian Marley’s) weed around in London for a bit” because “we got the same driver”.
