One of the music world’s best known family feuds, the friction between Oasis brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher shows no signs of going away.
The poor relationship between Liam and Noel Gallagher is the source of music industry legend. The two have frequently fought, both on and off stage.
Exchanging verbal volleys in public, the two gave an interview to the NME so notorious that it would eventually be released as a single in its own right.
In a new interview Liam Gallagher reveals that the two are still no closer to warming to one another. Speaking to That’s Shanghai, the singer said: “Me and our kid haven’t got a relationship, to be quite honest with you.
“He does his thing, and I do my thing. The only time we sort of bump into each other, and that’s rarely, is on stage.
“There’s things he don’t like about me and there’s things I don’t like about him. He can’t change me, I wouldn’t wanna change him.”
“The main thing is that we both love Oasis, so that’s about it. We just do Oasis things.”
Oasis are currently on a tour of south east Asia, where they have been barred from playing in China. It was alleged that Noel Gallagher’s performance at a Free Tibet concert was the reason the shows were cancelled.
