Liam Gallagher Fan Message

Oasis man answers queries

Oasis singer Liam Gallagher has posted a new video online in which he answers queries from fans.

With elder brother Noel Gallagher launching a program on TalkSport over the weekend, Liam Gallagher seems determined to make sure his voice is heard. The star recently launched his new clothing line Pretty Green, and in a video posted on the label’s website the singer answers questions sent to him by fans.

Pretty Green is a brand new label, and nothing has yet been seen of the clothes they will produce. However Gallagher has assured fans that the firm will only make clothes that he himself would wear, meaning it will more than likely be a Mod / Casual crossover.

In the new message Gallagher is asked what he has been listening to recently. “Right, there’s a band called Freepeace that are cool,” he answers, adding “I think they sound like late-Beatles, to be honest.”

Freepeace have a number of connections to Oasis, with one time La’s drummer Nick Miniski playing in the group. In an early interview Noel Gallagher famously declared he wanted to finish what The La’s had begun.

Continuing, Liam Gallagher praised Oldham band Twisted Wheel, saying “they sound like The Jam.”

Gallagher also praised close friends Kasabian. Together with Twisted Wheel, the Leicester group are set to support Oasis at their massive stadium shows this summer.

The clip sees Liam Gallagher wearing a hat adorned with the Pretty Green logo. Whether this is part of its soon to launch range is open to debate. Currently, the singer is on holiday in Africa but according to a Twitter update it doesn’t seem to be going very well.

“In the pool, a kid just jumped on me head, had to have a word…,” Gallagher wrote.
