In the trailer for his new film...

Liam Gallagher blames brother Noel for Oasis splitting up in the trailer for his new film.

Incoming documentary As It Was traces the frontman's solo comeback, culminating in the enormous success of his album 'As You Were'.

The film opens in a moment of rare self doubt, with Liam Gallagher admitting he was "lost" after the Oasis split.

"The geezer split my band up," he says at one point, before adding: "The only way out of this mess is music."

His reason d'etre quickly returns, however, with the trailer featuring bursts of live footage from those epic shows.

Liam Gallagher observes: "When I’m singing songs close-up to that mic, nothing could touch it..."

As It Was opens with a special event at London's Alexandra Palace on June 6th.
