Lexie Carroll will release new EP ‘you look lovely when you’re living’.
Rising songwriter Lexie Carroll is a woman of many talents. In addition to her burgeoning music profile, she’s also studying psychology at university, probing the inner workings of the psyche.
New EP ‘you look lovely when you’re living’ was patiently constructed across the past 18 months, featuring seven songs. A sign of her rapid maturity, Lexie comments that the lyrics deal with emotional nuance.
As she puts it, “as you get older things are much less black and white.”
New single ‘laundry detergent’ is out now, the deft pop manoeuvres displaying the sense of control that exists within Lexie’s music. She says…
“This ones about the awkward but sweet part of starting to fall for someone and just wanting to be around them all the time.”
