Dutch four-piece Lewsberg have shared pared back new cut ‘Sweets’.
The band recently supported Pavement on the group’s re-union tour, playing some huge venues in the process. Impressing all who saw them, Lewsberg will return with a flurry of UK headline shows later this month.
The dates include a trip to Margate, before Lewsberg play London’s Shacklewell Arms on November 19th, Birmingham’s Hare & Hounds on November 23rd, and Glasgow basement Nice N Sleazy on November 24th.
The group have pieced together a special, ultra-limited cassette tape for the tour, featuring a couple of pared back indie rock jams. ‘The Playground’ is a fragile instrumental, while the clipped chords of ‘Sweets’ feel reminiscent of the recent box set of Lou Reed demos unearthed by Light In The Attic.
A cut new video has also been pieced together for the song – check out ‘Sweets’ below.
