Liverpudlian pop wizards The Wombats have announced a series of headline live dates for November, playing some of their biggest gigs to date.
The three-piece Anglo-Norwegian group had a hugely successful 2007 with the release of debut album “A Guide To Love, Loss And Desperation” – featuring the extremely popular single “Let’s Dance To Joy Division”.
The new dates will include the band’s massive homecoming show at the new Liverpool Echo Arena, which will feature The Wombats playing before 10,000 ecstatic fans. The group recently completed an arduous tour of the UK, and are currently preparing to play a special one-off show at London’s Royal Albert Hall. With a busy festival period planned – including a special Glastonbury performance with New Order’s Peter Hook – it looks as if fans will be spoilt for choice this summer.
The Wombats will play the following dates:
November 13th – Glasgow Academy
November 15th – London Matter
November 22nd – Liverpool Echo Arena
