Lethal Bizzle Is Back!

New album details confirmed

One of the true heroes of UK underground hip hop Lethal Bizzle is set to release his new album later this year.

As a member of More Fire Crew, the rapper took the sound of the streets into the charts. Their top ten smash ‘Oi!’ came as the group were disintegrating, with Lethal Bizzle quickly snapped up by labels charmed by his unique rhyming skills.

Debut solo smash ‘Forward Riddim (Pow)’ was a huge underground sensation, blending rap, grime and dancehall to produce something utterly irresistible. Scooping a MOBO award, the track was later covered by Jay-Z as Lethal Bizzle began working on his debut album ‘Against All Oddz’.

The rapper last released an album with ‘Back To Bizznizz’ in 2007. Lethal Bizzle began to expand his style, taking on board rock influences and storming the festival circuit. Hidden away in the studio for some time, the hip hop hero has been working with the likes of Donaeo, Mark Ronson, Dexplicit, Youngsta and Gallows.

Possibly the most eclectic cast ClashMusic has seen in some time, Gallows of course recruited the rapper for their cover of The Ruts’ ‘Searching For The Rude Boiz’. Mark Ronson needs no introduction thanks to his work with Amy Winehouse and The Rumble Strips, while Youngsta is one of the top DJs on the dubstep scene.

Little has been heard of the album, though comeback single ‘Go Hard’ has been confirmed for release on June 29th. In a statement Bizzle said “it’s a club party song, produced by funky house king Donaeo, it’s about going hard in everything you do, always putting two thousand percent in!”
