Leon Seti has shared brand new single ‘Lullaby’.
The track marks a turning point for Seti, now delving into more experimental territory with a glistening, electro-pop production. The Amsterdam-based artist is attentive to the subtleties in his sound, taking his listener on a gradual journey of conflict and self-understanding. From start to finish ‘Lullaby’ builds upon its ethereal, all-encompassing vocals and momentous synths, embellished with pure flutes and twinkling chimes.
2019’s debut album ‘COBALT’ proved the potentialities of commercial success, landing #1 on iTunes Electronic Chart in Italy. Since then, the rising force has honed in on his craft, embracing new sounds and directions.
‘Lullaby’ is a glimpse into Seti’s latest album ‘Grimorie’ which experiments with a more ambient-focussed minimalism. Across 10 tracks, the riser pieces together potent hooks and song-writing that uplifts the project’s bucolic feel. Previously performing on stages and festivals across Europe, including The O2 Academy Islington, the project looks towards a more bold and exciting live execution.
Kicking off the year with a full body of work, Leon Seti is a thriving force on the horizon.
The artist comments: “I wrote the lyrics about a fight I had with my sister. With my producer, Pancratio, we turned it into a powerful statement about feeling like you’re not being listened to, about feeling powerless… The final line “you’ll never say sorry/and that’s fine/ I guess” captures a hope that sometimes is hard to put into words.”
Tune in now.
