leo. Returns With New Single ‘green’

Maybe sometimes life can good...

leo. has shared his new single ‘green’.

The songwriter was born in Portugal, but his undaunted love of music took him on the road. Finishing up in the UK, he’s now based in this country, which has provided a foundation for his funny, tongue-in-cheek form of pop.

Typically self-effacing, songs such as ‘despair’ and ‘drink my soul’ have set out his stall – a unique voice, intelligent and often funny.

Set to have a summer of live shows – including a very special set at Brighton Pride – leo. returns with new single ‘green’. A song about learning to accept that, sometimes, things do indeed go according to plan, and life can indeed be a happy space, ‘green’ has a breezy melody that yearns towards the uplifting.

He comments…

‘green’ is a song I wrote about someone who had too many green flags for me to succeed at self-sabotage. It’s a really fun song about hope that things can actually be good and complete stubbornness about letting a new person in all at the same time.

It’s the first single off my upcoming debut album, due later this year, produced by Ed Allen. Ed and I have worked really hard to develop my sound and I couldn’t be happier with how it’s all coming along. This is my favourite song I’ve done yet and I can’t wait to share it with everyone.

A mark for this young talent, ‘green’ finds leo. stretching his wings once more – tune in now.
