Lenox Hills have shared their third EP ‘Staring At The Sun’, via The Orchard.
Generating a buzz through a string of punchy performances, the Tennessee quartet venture further into indie-rock with their latest release. Sporting vulnerable lyricism and ear-worm hooks, the risers lean into bitter-sweet acoustics on their highlight title track, exuding a warmth and emotional weight throughout. The result is a universal, dynamic listen, grasping an audience with its momentous, inter-weaving instrumentation.
Pieced together by brothers Luke and Packy Mullin, drummer Kyle Swenson and bass player Kameron Dunn, Lenox Hills have been busy recording in their home studio. Now embarking on a number of shows across Oxford, Chattanooga, Charlottesville and beyond, the outfit are savouring their new material on the road, gravitating towards new audiences.
Speaking on the track, Mullin expands: “We couldn’t be prouder of this song and what it represents for the future of our band. It’s vibey and easy listening, but emotionally vulnerable at the same time. We feel like we nailed exactly what we were going for and said what we wanted to say.”
Tune in now.
