Led Zeppelin are set to expand their 'BBC Sessions' compilation for a new re-issue.
The legendary rock group have compiled 'The Complete BBC Sessions', featuring a plethora of newly unearthed gems.
The follow on to the band's acclaimed 'BBC Sessons' compilation, the new release includes a fabled 'lost' session which will be released for the first time.
The session was originally broadcast in April 1969, and features the only recorded performance of 'Sunshine Woman'.
Jimmy Page recently spoke to Guitar World about the impact those sessions had on the band: “The BBC Sessions show in graphic detail just how organic the group was. Led Zeppelin was a band that would change things around substantially each time it played…We were becoming tighter and tighter, to the point of telepathy.”
Led Zeppelin's 'The Complete BBC Sessions' will be released on September 16th.
