LCD Soundsystem have criticised new vinyl re-issues of their catalogue.
Yesterday (June 12th) Clash reported that Rhino were preparing to re-issue a number of LCD Soundsystem albums on vinyl.
As many people on social media pointed out, it's not that long since the previous vinyl drop – in fact, copies are still readily available.
LCD Soundsystem clearly feel the same way, and have issued a statement saying that they "certainly aren’t announcing shit".
Clearly in the dark over the arrangement, the band write: "Just buy the records from DFA, like you have been able to for years…"
