French techno icon Laurent Garnier is set to return with his first dancefloor EP in five years with “Back To My Roots” due on Innervisions in May.
The dance icon came of age in the clubs of Manchester in the late 80s, spinning classic house to a devoted audience. Garnier released several acclaimed LPs in the early 90s, dominating dancefloors and critical charts alike.
Whilst he continued to DJ, Garnier hasn’t released any new material for 5 years. A recent gig in Berlin saw the French DJ spin a recent demo cut, which was seized upon by the Innervisions crew.
