Electro rock weirdoes Late Of The Pier have announced a series of live dates including a set at legendary London nightspot Heaven.
Hailing from Nottingham, Late Of The Pier have caused a sensation this year with their outlandish sound and equally bizarre wardrobe. Debut album ‘Fantasy Black Channel’ was produced by electro pin up Erol Alkan, and was a fantastic collection of utterly unique songs.
Straddling the divide between the dance floor and the live arena, the band have released some stunning singles which have found their way into the hands of electro producers. The Boys Noize mix of recent release ‘Focker’ is currently causing a sensation in club land, and the new dates will reflect this.
Support at the very special Heaven appearance will come from Erol Alkan, Metronomy and more playing a DJ set. Other highpoints on the mini tour include a hometown show in Nottingham and a performance in Liverpool with 2ManyDJs.
