British Sea Power are currently riding waves of critical acclaim after the release of new album “Do You Like Rock Music?”, and have arranged a very special show on Canvey Island.
The 200-capacity Monico Hotel will host the show, which is being arranged in collaborration with Canvey Island Football Club. The song “Canvey Island” from the new album is based on real-life events, when the 1953 Canvey flood destroyed football records.
British Sea Power have also been filming a performance for Later… With Jools Holland which will be broadcast on February 8th.
