Montreal’s wonderful Land Of Talk are set for a rare visit to the UK with a London date announced to coincide with the release of download only single ‘The Man Who Breaks Things’.
Led by singer and guitarist Elizabeth Powell, the Canadian based group are one of a flurry of groups to have emerged from the fertile Montreal music scene. Debut EP ‘Applause Cheer Boo Hiss’ marked the arrival of a unique talent, with Powell’s introspective songwriting blending with superb group instrumentation.
Latest album ‘Some Are Lakes’ was released earlier this year and was a wonderful collection of songs, demonstrating a rapidly maturing songwriting talent. The latest single to be taken from the album will be the epic track ‘The Man Who Breaks Things’ which is set to be released as a download on December 8th.
