Lana Del Rey sat down with the Guardian last month for a lengthy feature, agreeing to answer questions on new album 'Ultraviolence'.
One segment of the Q&A stood out. Probed about her love for fated figures in pop culture, Lana Del Rey appeared to suggest that early death was glamorous.
Subsequently denying she intended this, the row only increased when Frances Bean Cobain – Kurt Cobain's daughter – tweeted to the singer, criticising her views.
In a pair of tweets Lana Del Rey has now responded.
