New Zealand electro pixie Ladyhawke is set to celebrate her new single ‘Paris Is Burning’ with a free remix.
Signed to dance powerhouse Modular, the New Zealand starlet caused waves with her debut album last year. A blend of dancefloor abandon and pop bliss, Ladyhawke patched together the latest electronic innovation with a sharp melodic touch.
Initially released last year, ‘Paris Is Burning’ was a cult favourite. Now due to be re-released on March 2nd, the single could break through to the mainstream, with Ladyhawke becoming the Lady Gaga it’s OK to like.
The single will be followed with a series of British tour dates by the singer. Ladyhawke struggles with Asperger’s, which in her case results in severe stage fright. However, the singer is battling to overcome her illness and the new dates will no doubt be her best yet.
