Lady Gaga has posted a statement mourning her friend and collaborator Zombie Boy.
The Canadian model and artist shot to fame after appearing in the video for 'Born This Way', developing a close relationship with the star.
Real name Rick Genest, his distinctive, tattoo-clad appearance made him an icon for Gaga fans.
Sadly Zombie Boy took his own life yesterday (August 2nd), sparking a wave of mourning from his many friends, fans, and collaborators.
Lady Gaga wrote: "We have to work harder to change the culture, bring Mental Health to the forefront and erase the stigma that we can’t talk about it. If you are suffering, call a friend or family today. We must save each other."
