Lady Gaga is set to re-issue 'ARTPOP' without R Kelly's contribution.
The album landed in 2013, and featured R Kelly on the single 'Do What U Want'.
Both the decision to collaborate with R Kelly and the subsequent video were heavily criticised at the time, with the R&B singer's behaviour subsequently being exposed with the Surviving R. Kelly documentary series.
Lady Gaga has since apologised for the move, explaining:
"As a victim of sexual assault myself, I made both the song and the video at a dark time in my life. My intention was to create something extremely defiant and provocative because I was angry and still hadn’t processed the trauma that had occurred in my own life."
She said: "I’m sorry, both for my poor judgment when I was young, and for not speaking out sooner."
The song was initially withdrawn from streaming services, and will not feature on the incoming vinyl re-press of 'ARTPOP'.
Although Lady Gaga has not commented on the news, the move has been confirmed to Pitchfork.
