L.A. Salami has shared his brand new single ’THE TALISMAN’.
A rich, autumnal listen, the South London singer-songwriter bounces back once more with introspection. Plucked from the deluxe version of 2022’s highly acclaimed ‘OTTOLINE’, the track carries a bright, hopeful energy. Embracing warm acoustics and twinkling keys, L.A. Salami develops the project’s versatility further, blurring the boundaries between folk, rock n’ roll, neo-soul and hip-hop. Thematically, ‘The Talisman’ extends the self-professed ‘Intergalactic Troubadour’s’ imagination further, fleshing out a character he’s been building since the late 2010s.
Making his debut in 2012, Lookman Adekunle Salami has been carving his own path, dabbling in the worlds of fashion and beyond. Following the success of his 2014 EP ‘The Prelude’, the multi-faceted artist has toured across the UK and crafted the soundtrack to Burberry’s SS/14 Menswear campaign. Now, the artist is placing all his focus on the future of his sound, which continues to evolve as his vocals strengthen.
