Kwes is set to release new EP ‘Meantime’ through Warp Records on April 30th.
It seems strange to think of Kwes as a newcomer. Still only 24, the producer has worked with The XX, Speech Debelle, Michachu and more while Damon Albarn also invited him out to Congo for the DRC Music project.
Signing a deal with Warp, Kwes has been focussing on his own material of late. Now the producer is set to break cover, with ‘Meantime’ due to be released on April 30th.
The producer’s debut release on Warp, ‘Meantime’ will contain four tracks. Gearing up for the release, Kwes recently gave away the non-EP cut ‘Get Up’ via the handy widget which you can find below…

Playing London’s The Social last night (January 10th) Kwes is now coming into his own as a live artist. The producer made his live debut just before Christmas, and is set to play a further show alongside Gang Colours at The Garage on February 11th.
