Kwes / Micachu Team Up

For second Kwesachu tape

Kwes and Micachu are to launch their second mixtape with a one off London show.

On the surface, Kwes and Micachu wouldn’t seem to have that much in common. Kwes fuses glitchy hip hop with left field electronics, while Micachu comes from a background in experimental classical music.

Yet with the Kewsachu mixtape, the pair gelled effortlessly. Released in 2008, the fifty minute construction alerted fans to not one but two brave new voices.

Now Kwesachu is set to roar once again. The pair have been building up a bank of fresh material, with a second mixtape set to be released this summer. To coincide, the duo will team up with a variety of guest musicians for a one off show at the Southbank Centre.

Taking place on April 28th, the collaborative performance uses the foyer in the Queen Elizabeth Hall. Kwes and Micachu will both play solo before teaming up for a run through some of their Kwesachu material.
