Kowton has placed his tech-flavoured new track 'And What?' online.
Collaboration, that's the thing. Pooling resources, preserving energy and bouncing ideas from partner to partner. Kowton and Julio Bashmore sat down last year, punting tracks towards each.
Spiralling, developing into something new, the results will be gathered on a new EP. 'Mirror Song EP' is set to be released on May 27th, housed on Bashmore's own Broadwalk Records imprint.
In addition to collaborations such as the title cut, the EP also contains the Kowton solo cut 'And What?'. An aggressive slice of bass driven techno, the clipped rhythms are matched synths which bubble and writhe with a rare energy.
