Korn's special merch range of surgical masks have completely sold out.
The world seems to be gripped with anxiety surrounding the spread of coronavirus, leading to some apocalyptic headlines.
With Italy on lockdown and SXSW cancelled, it seems one group are ready to clean up – metal giants Korn.
Yes, the band have a range of surgical masks, and once word spread the masks sold out in less than a weekend.
Expected to be restocked shortly, Korn's website carries a key disclaimer, warning fans that… they don't actually work.
It advises:
"Surgical masks are not considered respirators by OSHA. They are fluid resistant, disposable, and loose-fitting protection that create a physical barrier between the mouth and nose of the wearer and potential contaminants in the immediate environment."
"Surgical masks do not seal tightly to the wearer's face, nor do they provide a reliable level of protection from inhaling smaller airborne particles or viruses."
Ah well. Check out some other Korn merch HERE.
