Koreless Shares New Single ‘Seven’

The British electronic musician, DJ and producer returns with his first release in over two years...

Lewis Roberts aka Koreless has shared new single ‘Seven’, released globally via Young.

‘Seven’ arrives a few years after acclaimed full-length, ‘Agor’. Koreless found himself in a creatively fertile space as he moved to the rural countryside in Wales from London. That unbridled momentum is captured on a deceptively austere, churning track which has been the circuit favourite for DJs Daphni, Four Tet, Batu, Benji B, Courtesy, and HAAi, who featured an alternative version, ‘Seven (Drumhell)’, on her DJ Kicks compilation released last year.

Aside from his solo work, Koreless produced an original score for Thomas Hardiman’s murder mystery film, MEDUSA DELUXE, and worked closely with choreographer Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar on ‘Into The Hairy’, highlighting his unique ability to seamlessly meld music and movement. Meanwhile, the electronic maven maintains his enduring collaborative partnership with FKA twigs. In her recent Vogue cover interview, twigs referred to Koreless as the “guiding light” on her forthcoming album.
