Rising vocalist Konyikeh has shared her excellent new EP ‘Litany’ in full.

The songwriter grabbed out attention last year, taking a starring role at Dave’s powerful BRIT Awards performance. Since then she’s side-stepped the hype, working to her own pace – and the results speak for themselves.

Absorbing new EP ‘Litany’ is out now in full, a song cycle that finds Konyikeh baring her soul. Five tracks of R&B-drenched revelation, she’s able to express those dark moments of self-doubt, before emerging as something whole, and distinctive.

“It’s kind of a little prayer to soothe yourself,” she says, “And the things that I wrote in my teenage years that held me together; these are songs from the darkest time in my life. They’re like little prayers to myself.”

British producer Charlie J Perry helps steer the project, expanding on her astonishing promise. Out now, EP focus track ‘Joy And Pride’ has gained the visual treatment, adding another aspect to Konyikeh’s artistry.
