At annual awards ceremony...

Hyperdub is ten years old.

A true bastion of bass culture, the label is led by example. Founder Steve Goodman records under the name Kode9, developing a powerful, inventive musical identity in his own right.

Toasting its tenth birthday, Hyperdub has confirmed a number of celebrations. Well, another one will have to be added to the calendar...

Steve Goodman is set to be awarded with the newly minted AIM Innovators Award at the forthcoming AIM (Association Of Independent Music) Awards.

Kode9 said: "You can only do so much on your own, so really this award is for all the artists I work with and the team that distribute and promote our music behind the scenes. Thanks and congratulations to them."

The AIM Awards take place at the The Brewery in Clerkenwell on September 2nd - ticket link.
