AllSaints launch film company with Nashville docu...
Serpents & Snakes

International clothing company AllSaints is branching out further into the arts, continuing their dedication to innovation with a new film company as part of the brand.

AllSaints Films will produce exclusive content that captures the spirit and attitude of the brand, exploring everything from music, style and street documentaries to cutting-edge moving image installations, offering commissions to young filmmakers and encouraging new talents in the field.

“Film is perhaps the most exciting and accessible medium with which to capture the spirit of the AllSaints DNA - creativity, attitude, inviduality,” says Wil Beedle, the brand’s Creative Director. “We can’t wait to share the exclusive content we’re creating with our ever-growing global community.”

To launch this company, AllSaints present New Music City, a documentary created with the co-operation of Kings Of Leon which tells the story of their Nashville-based independent record label, Serpents & Snakes, and the alternative music scene that is currently shaping (and rocking) the city.

New Music City features exclusive interviews with Kings Of Leon’s Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill, who discuss the history, inceptions and inspiration behind their label, and introduces their signed charges, including The Features, Turbo Fruits, and The Weeks (who support KOL on their forthcoming European tour). Filmed on location in Nashville and Austin, it includes footage from Serpents & Snakes’ storming showcase from this year’s South By South West festival (see Clash’s review here).

The teaser (which was produced by Somesuch & Co.) will be premiered in London, in one of AllSaints’ original retail spaces. Their Earlham Street store, now an experimental hub, will be transformed from May 21st into a unique screening room, complete with vintage theatre seats ripped out and provided by a Nashville cinema. There you can experience New Music City as it plays constantly throughout the day, or alternatively you’ll find it online at
