Killers Royal Albert Hall DVD

Includes extras from V Festival

Las Vegas indie titans The Killers have confirmed details of a new DVD filmed at their recent Royal Albert Hall shows.

The Killers have become one of the biggest touring acts in the UK. The release of last year’s single ‘Human’ sent the band onto another level of fame, with subsequent album ‘Day And Age’ becoming a huge smash.

Since then, the band have been transformed into bona fide festival headline fodder. Taking the summer by storm The Killers played storming sets at Oxegen, T In The Park and V Festival before returning to the United States.

Set to take a break before working on new material The Killers are due to leave behind a unique souvenir of their extensive touring in the UK.

One of the highlights of the band’s time in Britain was a two night stint at the Royal Albert Hall. Featuring tracks from their new album alongside older anthems and rarely heard songs, The Killers’ sets brought the house down.

Now those who couldn’t make the sold out shows can bask in the full glory of The Killers live experience. A new DVD due for release on November 9th will contain a full set from the Royal Albert Hall alongside a host of extras.

Opening with ‘Human’ the band then run through a host of favourites from ‘Day And Age’. The Killers also play their version of Joy Division’s ‘Shadowplay’ and the rarely heard ‘Sam’s Town’.

The package will also include an 80 minute audio CD of live material, alongside a behind the scenes documentary and additional videos from The Killers performances in V Festival 2009 and Hyde Park.
