Las Vegas glamorous indie icons The Killers have confirmed that they will be joined by Sir Elton John on a forthcoming Christmas single.
The band have revealed that they are to duet with glam pianist and all round musical diva Sir Elton John. The song will be titled ‘Jose[h Better You Than Me’ and will be recorded over the next few weeks.
In a new interview with the BBC, Killers’ drummer Ronnie Vannucci said “I have a sneaky suspicion Elton is just going to want to get us in a room and just do a straight recording.”
The band have turned recording a Christmas song into a tradition, with their previous two efforts ‘A Great Big Sled’ and ‘Don’t Shoot Me Santa’ released as downloads.
The Killers performed a stunning set at London’s historic Royal Albert Hall venue last night (November 3rd) performing many tracks from their forthcoming album ‘Day And Age’.
