Las Vegas indie titans The Killers have been caught up in the controversy surrounding Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand, with their performance on Ross’ television show being cancelled.
Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand have been suspended from the BBC today (October 29th) after making a number of lewd prank calls to actor Andrew Sachs. The ensuing furore has led to over 10,000 complaints being made – though only two of those were made while the show was on air.
The ban has lead to the cancellation of the television show ‘Friday Night With Jonathan Ross’, which was due to be broadcast on October 31st. The Killers were due to play on the show in support of new single ‘Human’ so will now miss out.
The group are currently on the comeback trial with new album ‘Day And Age’ due to come out in November.
It is not known if the band will play in a re-scheduled version of the show.
