Kelela has shared the A.G. remix of ‘Happy Ending’.
The American voyager is gearing up to release her compilation ‘RAVE:N, The Remixes’, a fresh look at her fantastic studio album ‘RAVEN’.
Two tracks have already gone online, displaying avant pop futurism laced with club aesthetics. London producer A.G steps in to remix ‘Happy Ending’, and it’s a dose of jet-propelled electronics to blaze out the final days – or should that be nights? – of 2023.
Informed by Jersey Club – itself one of 2023’s defining sonic influences – the remix retains aspects of Kelela’s wonderful vocal, while also searching for new, rather more alien, climes.
