Kate Tempest – ‘The Beigeness’ (PhOtOmachine Club Re-Rub)

Spoken word artist re-worked...

The spoken word scene is almost entirely underground.

Largely ignored by the media, the scene has its own styles, its own pivotal figures. Kate Tempest is a hugely respected figure amongst the spoken word fraternity, with the artist taking her routines in the studio.

Working with Dan Carey, the results will be released through Big Dada later this year. Debut album 'Everybody Down' drops on May 19th, with lead single 'The Beigeness' already making waves.

Photomachine has stepped in on remix duties, taking the track in a striking new direction. Opening with near 8-Bit style synths, the track then burrows into an Acid-flecked techno roller as the producer folds Kate Tempest's vocals over one another.
