Kate Nash Working On New Album

Follow up planned

Hugely popular singer Kate Nash has revealed to fans that she is to begin working on her new album.

Kate Nash is a product of the close knit London open mic circuit. Friends with Jack Penate, the singer signed to Moshi Moshi who released her controversial single ‘Caroline Is A Victim’. Gaining and losing fans in equal measure, the song prompted a spoof version ‘LDN Is A Victim’ which ridiculed the (mainly middle class) scene that Nash belonged to.

However Kate Nash is far too talented to be dragged down by petty mud slinging. Her single ‘Foundations’ went on to soar up the charts, with her debut album ‘Made Of Bricks’ following soon after.

Since then life have changed drastically for the singer, with tabloids following her every move. Clash remain huge fans though, and you can check out our amazing fashion gallery by clicking HERE!

Following ‘Made Of Bricks’ Kate Nash has been touring almost constantly, recently playing a school disco as a special prize for pupils.

Earlier this year we reported that Kate Nash had begun writing her new album, and now it seems as if the singer is set to enter the studio again. In a message to fans Nash said:

“I’ve been meeting some producers out here about doing my next record. It’s pretty exciting because I haven’t really been ready to talk about any of that stuff for ages, I really haven’t wanted to.”

She added: “I’ve wanted to hang out and watch Jeremy Kyle and see my friends and go to the cinema and clean out my fish tank and pass my driving test.”

“But I finally feel ready to start getting stuck into thinking about how to stick these songs together that I’ve been working on for the past eight months.”

“I feel like the songs are stamps and I need to get someone to lick the back of the stamps and put them in the right place on the envelope.”

Kate Nash is due to release her new album later this year.
