Kate Bush Confirms New Album

Her second this year...

Kate Bush is set to release her brand new album ’50 Words For Snow’ on November 21st.

Kate Bush is a notoriously fastidious artist. The songwriter takes years to complete each new album, with the patience of fans often being tested by long periods with little fresh information to go on.

Yet 2011 appears to be a special year. Kate Bush has already released one album this year, and the singer has now stunned fans by confirming plans for a second LP.

Released earlier this year, ‘Director’s Cut’ was an intriguing exercise in analysing her own back catalogue. Giving interviews upon its release, Kate Bush revealed that she was working on fresh material.

Fearing a lengthy wait, fans braced themselves for the worst. However the singer has managed to get the LP completed in record time, with ’50 Words For Snow’ set to be released in November.

Kate Bush will use her own label Fish People to handle the release, although EMI are set to assist in distribution.

Containing all new material, the upcoming album was recorded during the same time frame as ‘Director’s Cut’. Little else is known about the album, which will apparently feature seven brand new tracks set against a background of falling snow.

Confirming the tracklisting, the album opens with ‘Snow Flake’ while other song titles include ‘Misty’, ‘Snowed In A Wheeler Street’ and ’50 Words For Snow’. 65 minutes long, the upcoming album is available to pre-order now through iTunes, HMV and Play.com.
