Kasabian are set for a stunning return in 2009 with a massive tour planned alongside new album ‘West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum’.
Kasabian have risen to become one of the nation’s biggest groups. With their massive sound and a back catalogue full of crowd pleasing anthems the band are a stunning live act capable of filling arenas up and down the country.
The group last released an album in 2007, with ‘Empire’ becoming a massive chart success. Spending time in San Francisco at the end of last year, Kasabian put down some new tracks including a duet with actress Rosario Dawson.
The ‘Sin City’ star appears on a track named ‘West Riding Silver Bullet’. Although no official confirmation has been made, the HMV website lists the new album as being available from June 8th.
Fans have already heard one track from the album, with the low key EP release ‘Fast Fuse’ being released last year. The title track is reportedly set to appear on ‘West Riding Pauper Lunatic Asylum’.
According to Historytohistory.org, the ‘West Riding Pauper Lunatic Asylum’ was located in the village of Stanley, on the outskirts of Wakefield. The asylum appears to be a running theme on the album.
Kasabian are due to release their new album ‘West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum’ on June 8th.
