Kasabian Album Cover

New details emerge

Returning indie kings Kasabian have revealed the cover artwork to their upcoming album ‘West Rider Pauper Asylum’.

Hailing from Leicester, Kasabian are a world away from the timid, navel gazing indie scene. Taking no prisoners the band are the true heirs to Oasis’ throne as the bad boys of British rock, as loved by their fans as they are hated by their detractors.

The band are due to return with their third album soon. Kasabian will release ‘West Rider Pauper Asylum’ later in the year, and early listens show it could well be their finest album to date. Packing a harder approach than ever before, the new material is destined to be heard sung back to the band by a stadium audiences of thousands.

Kasabian are set for a big year. The group are set to hit the festival scene, playing headline slots at Brighton’s Great Escape event and the infamous Camden Crawl. Aside from that the band are due to go out on the road with close friends Oasis, playing a variety of massive huge stadium dates.

The new artwork shows the band dressing up in vintage military gear. Kasabian are noted fans of military paraphernalia, and the new cover sees singer Tom Meighan wearing a jacket favoured by French emperor Napoleon.

Guitarist Serge Pizzorno also donned vintage cloths, wearing a full-length reverend’s robe. Kasabian have already previewed one track to fans, releasing new material as a free download.

Kasabian are set to release their new album ‘West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum’ on June 8th. The band will release the single ‘Fire’ a week earlier.
