American hip hop icon Kanye West has removed the short film he created with director Spike Jonze from his blog.
Kanye West is nothing if not versatile. The rapper has also worked in the fashion industry, crafting a pair of trainers with historic house of couture Louis Vuitton.
Now the hip hip star has teamed up with director Spike Jonze for a new short film. ‘We Were Once A Fairytale’ is a visually stunning collaboration, which makes bizarre sense following Kanye West’s recent antics.
The rapper recently stole the show at the VMA Awards – literally. Kanye West was enraged when his friend Beyonce was overlooked for an award in favour of Taylor Swift, and made his displeasure known by charging the stage.
Since then the star has endured a torrent of abuse. Even President Obama got in on the act, labelling Kanye West a “jackass” in an off the cuff remark.
Kanye West has reportedly sought refuge in an Indian hindu community, but seems to have taken his wi fi connection with him. The rapper uploaded ‘We Were Once A Fairytale’ which has become a huge discussion point for fans.
Containing West’s track ‘See You In My Nightmares’ the video has been watched by millions of fans. However the rapper has now withdrawn the video, with Kanye West editing the title to say: “Sorry I had to take it down”, followed by an unhappy smiley.
The video is still in wide circulation across the internet. In fact, you might just see it HERE.
Kanye West has not given a reason for the deletion of the video.
