American hip hop don Kanye West has revealed a sensational team up between himself, Jared Let and Killers’ singer Brandon Flowers.
Kanye West released his controversial album ‘808s And Heartbreak’ last year. Since then, life has been non-stop for the rap superstar who has been working on a personalised scent with Diesel, a new range of trainers with Louis Vuitton and a myriad of other commercial endorsements.
The rapper was also involved in a bizarre beef with Radiohead. A fan of the group, Kanye West asked to speak to the band after the Grammy Awards but was rebuffed. Furious, he claims he refused to applaud their performance at the ceremony.
It seems Kanye West is a fan of indie rock, then. Aside from leaking tracks by Peter, Bjorn And John on his personal blog he has also been working with Las Vegas titans The Killers.
West was apparently in the studio with actor come rock star Jared Leto when Brandon Flowers popped by. In a blog posting Kanye West said:
“I was working on this dope ass song with Jared and Brandon stopped by. I played them some of the new Jeezy beats and before everybody bounced, Brandon hopped on the keyboard and I hopped on the MPC. Shit was dope.”
West also showed fans a photo of the three working together.
Famed for his large ego, Kanye West was recently lampooned in take-no-prisoners American cartoon show South Park. However, it seems the rapper doesn’t take too kindly to badly drawn grade school kids yanking his chain with Kanye West admitting he was “hurt” by the portrayal.
