Kanye West Criticises Twitter

Owners fail to clamp down on fakes

American hip hop megastar Kanye West has his sights set on the social networking site Twitter, after a number of impostors began posting under his name.

Kanye West released his controversial new album ‘808s And Heartbreak’ last year. Switching from his trademark rapping style to autotune enhanced singing, the superstar challenged himself and endured the wrath of narrow minded critics.

The hip hop icon is a noted fan of blogging, recent leaking new tracks by Peter, Bjorn And John in a message to fans. However recent messages sent by him on Twitter have been revealed as being the work of impostors, and now West is out for blood.

Labelling the situation a “fucking farce” Kanye West published a new blog in which he accused the owners of Twitter of being “irresponsible and deceitful to their faithful users”.

Kanye West asked his fans “why would I use twitter??? I only blog 5 percent of what I’m up to in the first place.”

“I’m actually slow delivering content because I’m too busy actually busy being creative most of the time and if I’m not and I’m just laying on a beach I wouldn’t tell the world.”

Continuing, Kanye West insisted that the site offers everything “I need less of”.

The hip hop star finished by saying “it’s a fucking farce and it makes me question what other so called celebrity twitters are actually real or fake.”

Amongst the artists attracted to Twitter are The Streets, who recently released new tracks via the social networking site. Leader Mike Skinner worked on a track a day for three days, releasing the results as he finished them.

Also keen on the tool is TV presenter Jonathan Ross who gave away two tickets to Eminem’s album launch via the social networking site.

Kanye West’s Twitter account has now been suspended “due to strange activity”.
