Leeds own band of merry minstrels Kaiser Chiefs will headline the opening night of the Isle of Wight Festival, it has been announced. This completes the trio of headliners for the festival, which has already confirmed exclusive slots by The Police and Sex Pistols.
The Isle of Wight festival takes place between 13th – 15th June, and already looks to be one of the highlights of next summer’s musical calender. Kaiser Chiefs need no introduction, having established themselves as one of Britain’s premiere indie acts. Having plundered both the Brits and the NME Awards the band have successfully coupled critical with commercial success.
Tickets for the festival go on sale from 9am on December 10th.
