In the current climate, independent labels face an uphill struggle simply to survive. So the achievements of !k7 – now reaching their 27th birthday – shouldn't go unrecognised. Outlasting Factory, Creation and sundry other big hitters the electronic powerhouse is in the mood to party. Launching a month of free music, !k7 have decided to give away a two track single each week.
The project launches with When Saints Go Machine and Motor City Drum Ensemble. Lending a track each, the opening single pits the acclaimed Danish synth pop troupe against a band of techno Futurists. Stream the single below.
