K-Trap Announces New Album ‘SMILE?’

It's out on May 31st...

UK rapper K-Trap will return this Spring with new album ‘SMILE?’.

The rapper’s pedigree speaks for itself, building a catalogue that includes two Top 20 mixtapes, four Top 40 singles, and a lot more besides. From those early bally cuts through to his latter finesse, K-Trap has always sought to lead from the front.

New album ‘SMILE?’ epitomises this. His most ambitious work yet, it is slated to land on May 31st and will be accompanied by a full UK tour. Due to kick off later this year, rehearsals are already under way, and will hit London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow.

New single ‘Old School Era’ is out, and it’s a bold, energetic return from K-Trap. Digging into his bedrock, he blends some of those formative influences with new crafts, crafting something special in the process.

Backed by some stark black and white visuals, ‘Old School Era’ is the perfect lead-in to his new project. He says of ‘SMILE?’ –

People see you not smiling and can be quick to tell you to smile without fully knowing your story..I don’t give off much but I’ve put a lot into this album. It’s not a sad story it’s not a happy story but once you hear it you’ll defo know more about my transition, my journey and who I am…”
