K-Pop star Seungri has retired from entertainment following weeks of allegations made against him.
The pop star is part of the BIGBANG stable, but recent media reports linked Seungri to procuring sex for investors.
The allegations became widespread a few weeks ago, with South Korean police now stepping in to investigate.
Alongside this, Seungri has been accused of drug use at the Burning Sun club, where he is a director.
Now Seungri has retired from entertainment, placing a message to fans on his Instagram.
“I feel like it is best for me to retire from the entertainment business at this point,” he wrote. “I will sincerely submit to the investigation on this matter, and reveal the truth to all the allegations.”
