Justin Hawkins, former frontman of British rock group The Darkness, is set to make his comeback later this year when he unveils his new group Hot Leg.
The Darkness collapsed after Hawkins left the group in 2006, citing creative differences and media intrusion as reasons for wanting to leave the spotlight. With his former group now just a memory, Hawkins is ready to unveil his latest rock juggernaut – Hot Leg.
While The Darkness were far from loved by critics, they did have a massive fan base who will be eager to hear Hawkins’ new material. The band have unveiled a UK tour for August, with tickets available from the band’s myspace page. Fans who buy their tickets from their will also receive a free download track “Heroes”.
With their debut album due to be released in October, it looks like busy times are ahead for Hawkins & co.
