Jungle have shared new single ‘Let’s Go Back’.
The duo rose to a new level with further album ‘Volcano’, placing Jungle as bona fide festival headliners. In our 8/10 review, CLASH wrote:
A focussed, unified return, ‘Volcano’ doffs its cap to some supreme influences, while also allowing Jungle to expand, and evolve. Soulful songwriting with a thirst for house and disco, it finds the production duo amplifying their ambitions, and finessing their techniques across a cycle of exceptionally strong songwriting.
Jungle will play a flurry of UK shows this month, including a sold out show at London’s the O2 Arena on September 12th.
Regular collaborator Lydia Kitto has just joined the band on an official basis, and this union is celebrated on new single ‘Let’s Go Back’.
Arena-worthy electronics with soulful inflections, the sloping bassline nods to 70s Philly International productions, while the gorgeous vocal is draped in pop ambition.
